The Equinox series is Atacama's metal/glass styling option, carrying with it not only a fashionable and easy-to-integrate aesthetic but also excellent sound capabilities, backed up by its impressive feat of winning the What Hifi award for 'Best Accessory Product of the Year' every year for half a decade consecutively. The Equinox has been further improved with its RS ('Revised Specification') version, improving upon the Equinox's inner height capacity for the shelf modules, more advanced dampening get pads and a 10% increase to the weight capacity. The new RS modules are fully compatible with previous Equinox versions.
Each shelf is made from toughened safety glass is available in either Piano Black or Arctic frost, or with the new ARC Glass upgrade. Exclusively to the Equinox Hifi and Hifi Celebration models the option of ARC glass is now available in a Piano Black finish. Atacama Resonance Control glass is a specially made laminated glass with a dampening core and twice as thick as the standard Equinox glass to further improve the performance. The shelves are also available in two heights 195mm or 145mm.
